Our Story

Bridging Cultures Through German Language Education

The German School Uganda was founded in 2020 with a clear vision: to bring authentic, EU-standard German language education to the heart of East Africa. What began as a small initiative by a group of passionate German language educators has grown into Kampala's most trusted institution for German learning.

We recognized the growing demand among Ugandan and East African students for quality German language training - whether for university studies in Germany, professional opportunities with German companies, or personal enrichment. Our school was built to fill this gap, combining proven European teaching methodologies with a deep understanding of local learning needs.

Today, we are proud to have trained over 500 students, with many of our graduates studying at top German universities, working for international companies, or building new lives in German-speaking countries. Our commitment to excellence, personalized attention, and cultural immersion continues to drive everything we do.
